How to Play

Using your camera, you must find matching pictures provided with clues in your area. On your mobile device, install ClueCam and visit the Levels menu to get started with the game. Levels will unlock as you match the available pictures listed.

Detailed instructions:

  1. Install the app on your mobile device.
  2. Choose a handle (not an email - it can include letters, numbers, dashes, or underscores).
    This will identify you to other players and they will be able to see your progress.
  3. Open the Levels section to start the contest.
  4. Find and match images near you with your device's camera:
    • Your photo's GPS coordinates must match within 1 meter.
    • The captured image must align closely with the reference image (a match percentage indicator will turn green when you succeed - it takes a few seconds).
    • Once both location and image match, the level is complete, and the next one will unlock.
    • Continue matching images to unlock levels.
  5. The first player to complete all levels wins the contest.
